Along with the Twixels from the previous post, another thing I found at Target was these Reese’s Select Clusters for $2.99. The bag reads “Signatures” on the bottom, giving off the impression that these are some chic and classy chocolates. Individually wrapped, these Reese’s Select Clusters are milk chocolates that contain peanut butter (of course), pecans, peanuts and caramel.
These chocolates were good from the first bite on. Overall, the Reese’s Select Clusters tasted exactly like the original Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups except with the addition of tiny pecan and peanut chunks. Since the pecans and peanuts were chopped small, I really couldn’t tell which nut was which when I was eating them. Regardless, the nuts added that bit of crunch and were a great addition.
Due to the summer heat, I ate these Reese’s Select Clusters when they were slightly melted which made them deliciously soft and easy to bite into.
I later threw them in the fridge and found that I liked them better. When they were cold, the hardened center really brought out the caramel in the chocolates.
If you like the original Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, you’ll definitely enjoy these =D
