Since I enjoyed the Sour Green Apple Fluffy Stuff Spider Web Cotton Candy, I decided to review yet another cotton candy from Charms. Fluffy Stuff Snow Balls Cotton Candy. This Christmas Cotton Candy is strawberry flavored and costs $1.34.

Although it is called Snow Balls Cotton Candy, I still half-expected the cotton candy to be red or pink to match the strawberry flavor. Of course, the cotton candy ended up being white like snow. It’s a little disappointing to find both the Charms Halloween and Christmas cotton candy color white. Couldn’t they have prettied them up with different colors? Say, orange for Halloween and red for Christmas?

The flavor has more of the traditional cotton candy’s sweetness. Imagine, your usual cotton candy but strawberry flavored. Unfortunately, the cotton candy doesn’t completely melt in your mouth, so you might end up chewing a little.

I found the Fluffy Stuff Snow Balls Cotton Candy to be good, but too sweet for my taste. If you are big on sweet stuff and love cotton candy, I’m sure you’d enjoy this.

Charms Fluffy Stuff Spider Web Cotton Candy

Growing up, I have always liked cotton candy. Not so much for the sweet sugar flavor, but more for the cotton texture and the melt-in-your-mouth sensation. Charms, a candy company that makes several assortments of cotton candy, has a Halloween version of cotton candy called Fluffy Stuff Spider Web Cotton Candy. The most thrilling part of this cotton candy is that it is sour apple flavor. Of course, the flavor sour apple has absolutely nothing to do with Halloween, but sour candy and I happen to get along very well =D

I opened the bag expecting to see green cotton candy, but instead saw white. It is, after all, called Spider Web Cotton Candy. It looks more like a giant cotton ball. The texture of this cotton candy is similar to fresh cotton candy, but probably not as soft. No packaged cotton candy beats the texture of fresh cotton candy. So I pulled out some cotton candy and of course it melted in my mouth. However, after every mouthful, I would be left with a little cotton candy that I had to chew. Not a big deal, really, as the flavor was really good. The apple flavor was not very sour so even if you are not big on sour candy, you might enjoy it. Regardless, it’s still very fun to eat.

The Fluffy Stuff Spider Web Cotton Candy can be found at World Market for $1.49. It is almost like you are munching on air and because of that, I do not feel so health conscious eating it – which is why I’m finishing up the bag as I write this review. If you like sour stuff (or slightly sour, as this isn’t super sour) and cotton candy, grab yourself a bag before Halloween is over.
