aww that’s a shame as I actually enjoy this brand. I ate it in London where, at the time, flake was this huge thing and could be found everywhere. I think the flake refers more to the ribbons of chocolate on the inside, something like chocolate shavings/curls topped on desserts that crumble rather than the flakes of a crisp wafer. I agree that the chocolate could be of higher quality but I didn’t mind the texture to it at all.

I came across your site via blog catalog while browsing for food blogs. I’m definitely more into chocolate than the candy stuff but I LOVE these Tangy Zangy Sour Sticks/Belts. They’re not at all sour for my tastebuds and have the most amazing sweet flavour to them. They sell them at the dollar store here in Canada. (yup, I get this good stuff for a dollar or less!) I only discovered them recently and I simply can’t get enough. I’ve had the Green Apple, Blue Raspberry and Strawberry. I have yet to taste the Wild Fruit one. Love your site, will definitely keep reading!
